Ever had trouble removing your invisalign teen aligner?

By William Trepp

When your aligner has lots of attachments or retentive bumps, it can be difficult to remove. The trick to ease removal is to start removing the aligner by pulling down your aligner on the tongue side of your back tooth closest to your throat. Because most the bumps are on the check side of your teeth, as your aligner is displaced downward off your back tooth, try to spread/move your aligner towards your cheek, as you work on pulling it off your teeth going in order from your back teeth to front teeth. By stretching your aligner towards your cheek, you are also lifting your aligner off of the retentive bumps.
