Public Relations Coordinator Responsibilities/Accountabilities

 Position Summary:    Executes marketing activities designed to increase patient referrals from Referring Doctor Practices.

Primary Duties:

 Maintain files on Referring Doctors.
 Maintain Marketing Calendar.
 Classify referral base as to number of and production value of referrals (A,B,C,D Doctors).
 Define and maintain delivery routes.
 Make food and complimentary item deliveries to referring Doctor's offices.
 Organize and administer referring Doctor staff activities such as lotteries, lunch & learns, etc.
 Organize and administer Holiday related activities involving referring Doctor offices.
 Organize, plan and execute social and educational activities.
 Plan and arrange Doctor lunches with referring Doctors.
 Maintain contact with referring Doctor staff.
 Implement other various marketing activities recommended by Consultant.
 Keep Doctor informed as to activities .
 Obtain approval as required from Doctor.
 Track cost of activities.
 Submit monthly reporting to Consultant.
 Arrange and participate in weekly conference calls with Consultant.
 Fax notes from weekly conference call to Consultant.

Physical Requirements:
 Must be able to legally drive an automobile, making frequent stops, getting in and out of automobile while      carrying items up to 10 pounds.
 Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
 Must be able to sit, stand, and move about an office for moderate periods of time.
 Must have adequate manual dexterity to operate a computer

Competencies:
 Must be able to speak, read and write fluent English
 Must be able to communicate clearly and positively, both verbally and written.
 Must be obviously comfortable greeting and meeting new people, and establishing professional relationships.
 Must have excellent telephone and customer service skills.

Skills Required:
 Must possess outstanding organizational skills.
 Must be able to operate a  motor vehicle and have own car for transportation.
 Must have working familiarity with calculator and other standard office equipment.
 Must have working knowledge of computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
