Our office uses latest sterilization techniques. Debris is removed from soiled instruments using  an ultrasonic cleaning machine similar to what a jeweler uses to clean precious stones on rings. The debris free instruments are placed on organizing racks and then placed in either our steam or dry heat sterilizers. The sterilizers heat the instruments to over 400 degrees for a programed period of time. We test the effectiveness of our sterilization process by sterilizing intentionally contaminated spore strips and then sending the sterilized spore strips to an outside third party lab to see if the test spore strips are indeed sterile.
